VILLAGE OF WALTHILL, NE
The Papio Missouri River Natural Resources District has prepared a multi-hazard, multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan (2016 Papio Missouri River Natural Resources District Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan). The plan identifies mitigation goals and actions to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and property in the Village from the impacts of future hazards and disasters.
On September 9, 2015, the open house for the Downtown Master Plan was held. The link below shows the progress we have made so far. Any questions can go to Kevin Connot, Planner/Developer, at the Walthill Village Office.

On December 13, 2017, the Village entered into a solar contract with GC Revolt, who plans to start building the new solar park in Spring.
A walking trail that starts from Main Street (near Broughton Street) and wraps around the baseball field with the goal of ending at Main Street (near Costello Street) has been in the works since 2016. The trail is being completed in different phases with Phase I being complete, and Phase II in the works.
The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska purchased the lot next to the School's football field with plans to construct a new youth center.
